With a proud history, we are the oldest cricket club in Tonbridge.
Our secluded ground is large compared to many and,
coupled with our modern pavilion, offers superb facilities to club members and
visitors alike. There are few finer places to enjoy the final stages of a
cricket match than at our ground bathed in the early evening sunshine!
On Saturdays the 1st team competes in the Kent Cricket League Division 4 1st XI, and our 2nd team play in Kent Cricket League 5 2nd XI . On Sundays we play friendly matches under the banner of Tonbridge Exiles. The club's 1st XI
won promotion for the third season running in 2016 by winning Division 5, and the 2nd XI will play in the KCL for the first time following a convincing win in the Kent Regional League Division 2A.
The club has a thriving junior section, with over 100 juniors every Saturday morning. Our Under 11s came runner up in the MKYL Division 1 title in 2016, but won the cup. The Under 13s won the MKYL Division 2 trophy. They will compete in the newly formed Invicta League in 2017.
We have our ownoutdoor net facilities along
with a bowling machine. We run Winter indoor nets at Judd School in Tonbridge, followed by training every Wednesday in the Summer.
Anyone interested in playing for Tonbridge CC
should contact us , give us a call or simply come down to any of our matches at
our Welland Road ground. Weather permitting there are matches every Saturday
afternoon between the middle of April and September.
We have a large number of social members, many of
whom are former players, friends, their families and spectators. All members
and their guests are welcome to enjoy matches from the comfort of the fine
pavilion and make use of the facilities.
